Hello. I just recently got the sims 3 base pack. I am still learning what is where but something I can't seem to figure out is how to garden. My sim has three life time wishes to do so but I can't figure out how. What am I missing and where? Thanks ahead of time

*facepalm*  I just noticed some items in my inventory had the option to "plant". Would have been nice to have the booklet that came with the game point that tidbit of needed info out BEFORE I read all those books lol

Here is something I just noticed that may save you a ton of time.

My initial home was a small place with a small lot, my garden was all over the place so I had to to hand water alot of it. I moved to a BIG lot so I could have a well organized garden but it got so big it literally took all day just to tend the garden but with nectar making you really need all the extra fruit so I made a new sim to just handle the garen, still takes all day but was managable.

The good thing I noticed was when I was out collecting I went by the old house and the garden was still full of fruit without any weeds. I harvested it and came back a few days later and again was full of fruit and in great shape. So I bought a big lot, built a one room house and planted up the entire lot and stayed there till it was all ready to harvest. after that I moved back to the second house and live there, my HUGE garden is full of perfect stuff and all I ever have to do is harvest it when I need something.

MASSIVE time saver.
