Serious Question About Moving to a bigger lot!

Hey guys, I want to move my house to a bigger lot, like keep the whole house I have, and move it to a larger lot so Ill have much more room to expand.. Everywhere I check on the internet says to go to Edit Town and move the house in there... WELL

My Sims 3 house doesn't show up on that map... the lot on that map is the original empty lot :S... because the way everyone loads their houses is at the main menu...

So I don't understand how you go to Edit Town and click on you're house to move it there?

Can somebody help me please!

OK, I'm a little confused about how your wording this, but i'll try & word this as best as I can:
1: load the game where you want to move your house
2: Ok, your playing your Game....click on the three little ...'s and go to Edit town
3: You've got 4 options: Select, Move Lot, Build/Buy, & Bulldozer. Which One do we want? Obviously Move Lot!
4: Find The House You Want to move
5: Place it in a new Lot Slot

ooooohhhh I see what your trying to say now...
Check every corner on the Map- Your House is Bound to be there! If It's not, then I really don't know whats wrong with your game  probably a glitch or something

First you need to go to edit town :



Then find your house, click on it... and you will see something similar to this... Click save copy to library.
